You're a man close to my heart. LOL!

Hi Blip Team.

I know you guys are probably working crazy hard at getting v2 finished and not in the mood for requests ;). I do have a small request for the future maybe? I would love to see multiple outs for a single instance of Eden or TRG. Pretty much like TRG has 3 busses at the mo but one sound could be sent to all busses simultaneously so you could split your sound into bass/mid/high for further processing.

Cheers
Jamie

@TwistedGenetics: What tom meant is Blip is just one very stressed guy.

(And according to him, with multiple personalities and a mountainbiking problem. Another problem is that at least one of those personalities can't code at all.)

Wow just you Tom, you have your work cut out.. No more request from me then until NS2 dust settles then :)

TBH, I think Blip will go off with a swift and very sorry 'bang' if we throw any more last minute requests at him. Just think of him as one of those one-man-bands with bass drum and all kinds of other wacky contraptions firmly belted to his belly... could be a bomb you know, with enought TNT to take out the entire of the English west-coast.... And I wouldn't like that, 'cos it would prevent me from getting to Cornwall! :-/

Well, as long as it's not a whimper, we're probably safe. However, Going Off Bangs would make a great sample collection.

… or a hair dressing salon.

It's been quiet for a long time, I'm taking that as good news.

Sorry for the last minute request - just an idea for later:

I find that in piano roll mode, when I am editing a melody that spans many chord changes (and the chords are in different parts/patterns) I loose track of where the changes are. This morning I'm imagining a sort of toggle on/off overlay of a part/pattern that I could color with a virtual highlighter pen so that I can visually see what's going on musically. Yellow for tonic, pink for subtonic, green for dominant, or whatever. Really just need about 7 color choices. All that black space doesn't need to be black does it? I suppose one could leave it 'normal' un-highlighted black for tonic. Anyway, just an idea to help with actual composition with harmony. Not sure if the kids are doing that these days...

I'm new to the forum - and new to using them in general, so i hope this is an appropriate place to post - but I wanted to share that it'd be a game changer for me if NS2 has some sort of Midi Out - at the very least timing and sequencer start / stop. I have some old-school hardware sequencers and drum machines and if i could dock my iPad and be able to sync these devices so when I hit start on one of the songs in NS2, everything would fire up, it'd be so great. I couldn't find any topics in the search that tell me if this is a possibility for NS2...but would love to know.

Then - it WILL be game changer for you, if i good remember MIDI OUT was mentioned as one of supported features somewhere in this forum :)

I second that! As dendy mentions, MIDI out was one of the main features planned for NS2. That will definitely be a game changer for all of us. I also can't wait to use NS2 with hardware synths.

Oh, and welcome to the forum.

Is it weird that I can't wait for iOS 11 since I think NS2 should be out soon after? I usually dread new iOS...
