Colors

I noticed the pictures of nanostudio on iTunes feature different colors for the clips in the sequencer. I've never figured out how to change the color if it's even still possible. If anyone could let me know how that would be great.
when you convert a part to a pattern (song editor->more->properties->convert to pattern) the clip automatically gets assigned a color. There's a good write up of patterns in the manual.
