Congrats Tom! Is the limited edition CD a collector’s item or the entire run period? Will you press more CDs later that are more standard ‘less collectible’ but of course just as good sonic quality? I’m just curious about your release strategy.

Yup. It'll be turning up on Bandcamp at some point very soon I hope. The limited 100 editions is only because Static need to order more sleeves from the States. Britain is a bit shit when it comes to goodies such as this. A plastic CD bag usually means a shopping bag with a CD in it. ;-) But unlike Bandcamp, there's real artwork involved, and I like that sort of frugal DIY thing. We did everything super cheap.

You can sell CDs (etc) on Bandcamp as well. I've purchased a few records there. Nice that you can get the digital and the physical versions at the same time.

I’m liking Bandcamp a lot too, although I’ve never actually released anything.
I really dig CDBaby the most however. Again, not from any real world experience, just looking at websites and daydreaming.

Nice one nano!

As I wrote up there: Really looking forward to listen to it!!

The point is really about the joys of youth and having kids, life, death and rebirth. And having a lot of fun while growing up! All the usual stuff. Did anyone hear Charlie Brooker's Desert Island Discs on Radio 4? I can relate to this man! Listen to it. :)

Another play on Radio 6 music last night... 'There will come soft rains' the Nanostudio 'wall of sound' competition winner! Here's to hoping I won't be the last on BBC to have pieces played that were exclusively made on Nanostudio!

Also Vital did quite a good review here:

Still waiting patiently for Matt's beautiful new baby to be born! :)

SWEET! Congrats on the BBC and a great review. I didn't realize it was inspired by The Martian Chronicles. I love that book.

Congrats on the air time and positive review for Static Caravan!

I found it slightly humorous that in the review NS was referred to as “cult iOS software”.
I suppose we do have a synth named Eden... Matt must be the cult leader... The beta testers could be acolytes... I want to be a minion! Love those little guys.

"'There will come soft rains' the Nanostudio 'wall of sound' competition winner!"

Loved that track then and love it now! If we're a cult, we need a theme song.
