I've never tried doing that. What combination of apps have you tried so far?

Yes easy.

1. Find a youtube to m4a conversion website
2. Paste the url to the youtube video and download the converted m4a into Audioshare (by kymatica)
3. Convert to wav
4. Copy to clipboard or "open in" nanostudio
5. Trim to desired length on TRG pads or eden synth in nanostudio

Thank you Harisonzamperla! Ima try that. @Slam-cut, I was thinking of using audiobus and my irig pro. I wanted to use just the phone and interface.

You might try searching the audiobus forum. I know this has been discussed a lot. I think Anytune pro could do it at one point. Audioshare could long ago but apple forced him to remove the feature.

I always use "Beattime". This app will do it all for you, including making the sound file a wav so you can copy it on to a trg-pad.
